Microsoft will stop all support for Windows XP on 8th April 2014. This means that it will no longer receive security updates, so most people still using Windows XP would want to look at updating their operating system. So how do you upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 8?

I have always known that Microsoft's Internet Explorers implementation of "Temporary Internet Files" (TIF) had been completely broken, and there isn't much temporary about it. No matter what size you specify for the TIF to use in Internet Explorer, the size of the cache will continue growing.

Microsoft is to stop selling Windows XP on June 30, but many people are confused on what that actually means. What will happen after that date is that Microsoft will no longer be supplying the retail chain with (shrink-wrapped) copies of Windows XP. I get messages from people having problems with Windows Explorer crashes on a regular basis. In a lot of cases, these errors are caused by 3rd party shell extensions that are not functioning properly.
