Windows XP will display your zip files as folders:

If you don't want this to happen, open a Command Prompt (Start > Run and type CMD in the Open box, press OK) and type regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll.

You can reverse the above command by typing regsvr32 zipfldr.dll at a Command Prompt.
