Besides the bug fixes and security updates, there doesn't appear to be anything exiting in this update.
This update is part of Windows XP Service Pack 1, so Windows XP users who have downloaded (or plan on downloading) Windows XP SP1 don't need to get this Internet Explorer Service Pack.
System Requirements
Microsoft's recommended system configuration to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 is Microsoft Windows® 2000, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), or Microsoft Windows NT® on a computer with a Pentium III processor and 128MB of RAM. Although not "recommended", Windows 98 is also supported (Windows 95 is not).
A 486/66-MHz processor or higher is required, a Pentium processor is recommended. RAM & hard disk requirements according to OS:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 can be downloaded from the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web site, or from Windows Update.
