Show all files
By: Arie SlobBy default, Windows 95 does not show hidden or system files. Also file types which are registered with the system (i.e. there is a program associated with the file type), are shown without extension when you view your files in Windows Explorer.
To see all files:
- Open Windows Explorer, and select Options from the View menu
- Select the View tab, and choose Show all files
- Press Apply
- To see your file extensions, make sure that the check-box for Hide file extensions for known file types is unchecked
