Internet Explorer Error Reporting Tool
By: Arie SlobMicrosoft has released an error reporting tool that you can use to report unrecoverable errors in Internet Explorer (for example, general protection faults or invalid page faults) to Microsoft over the Internet. The Internet Explorer Error Reporting tool is available from the Windows Update web site.
If Internet Explorer experiences an unrecoverable error, you can send an error report to Microsoft over the Internet.
Microsoft developers will analyze the fault data and try to identify and correct the problems. At the time of reporting, the Internet Explorer Error Reporting tool will check to see if the problem you have encountered is one that is already fixed.
If a patch or workaround exists for the specific problem you reported, you are directed to the appropriate Web site where you can download the patch or workaround. If you are not prompted to download a patch or workaround and need support for the problem you reported, please see Microsoft Web site for Internet Explorer support options.
The Internet Explorer Error Reporting tool provides a new dialog box for unrecoverable errors that you can use to send an error report to Microsoft.
